ThailandTested contains booking links to Booking.com and Agoda, and in future may link to Skyscanner, 12Go, Klook, and GetYourGuide. Our partner accounts are not approved yet, so those links do not currently earn us a commission. When they are approved, we may earn a small commission if you book through them. That does not increase the price you pay.

Affiliate relationships never determine what gets recommended. A hotel doesn't get listed, or get a better badge, because it pays a higher commission. If a place doesn't meet our bar, it isn't recommended, regardless of the commission on offer.

Every hotel on this site carries a badge, Personally Visited, Researched Pick or Also Listed, explained in full on our About page. That badge reflects our actual process, not a marketing label. Once partner accounts are approved, a booking link would pay us the same whichever badge a listing carries, which is why the badge is decided before the links go on and never the other way round.

Where we've included a "Book Direct" link alongside affiliate links, that link earns us nothing. We include it because booking direct is sometimes genuinely the better option for you, and we'd rather tell you that than not.
