Staff score 9.5. Cleanliness, comfort and facilities are all 9.3, value for money 9.1 and wifi 8.9. Averaged across both platforms it is 8.95, joint lowest of our six here, which in an area where the top is 9.3 is a narrow spread rather than a gap.
Booking.com lists it as beachfront with a pool complex, a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre, room service and a bar, and shows an official five-star rating. The pools are the reason most people book it.
Location at 8.5 is the number to weigh. It sits at the north end of the beach, away from the town, so eating out means a drive or the shuttle. The cheapest room for two on our dates was a deluxe at around ฿3,976 a night.
