Hua Hin North

Hua Hin North is the stretch of coast between Klai Kangwon Palace and Hua Hin Airport, where the municipality’s boundary with Cha-am runs. No government source treats it as a district of its own; we use the name for the stretch of beach and the low-numbered sois off Phetkasem Road.

Its southern edge is Klai Kangwon, the summer palace King Rama VII completed in 1929, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, which says it is still an official royal residence.

We list three places here. Rest Detail Hotel is a beachfront four-star on Soi Hua Hin 19, at around ฿4,410 a night. Anantara Hua Hin Resort is a beachfront five-star with the deepest sample of reviews here, at around ฿13,964. Baan Noppadol Hua Hin Loft is inland, with a pool, at around ฿1,189. All three clear our bar.

Three is all there is, and we would rather say so than pad the page. By 8 October 2026 nothing else on this stretch had cleared our bar. Both ends were checked: the properties nearest Anantara on Booking.com are five holiday condominiums carrying no guest score at all, one with a single review and one scoring 7.4 from 36. The properties nearest Rest Detail are whole-house rentals, most with no score or one review, plus a hotel scoring 7.5 from 48 reviews and another scoring 8.6 from 6. Our lower tier needs 7.5 on every platform and 60 reviews between them, and none of those reaches it.

The stretch is genuinely thin rather than badly searched. It is a short run of large resorts with holiday lets in between, and the resorts are the three above. If that changes, or if a fourth clears the bar on a later set of dates, it goes up then.
