Pranburi

Pranburi here means the Pran Buri district coast south of Khao Tao, from the mangroves and the fishing village at the Pran Buri river mouth, Pak Nam Pran, down to Khao Kalok. The district town of Pran Buri itself is inland.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand describes Pak Nam Pran as a picturesque coast with white sandy beaches and a small fishing community, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ directory says most villagers fish, which makes the village a centre for affordable seafood. Resorts here often use the Hua Hin name. Further south, beyond this area, is Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, which the Tourism Authority describes separately.
