Krabi Town

Krabi Town is the provincial capital, on the river rather than a beach, and about 11km east of Ao Nang Beach in a straight line from our picks.

Of those with a January price: Hello House is around ฿1,290 a night, Sita Krabi Hotel around ฿1,386, and Into the town around ฿2,720. Srisawara Casa is around ฿2,250 for 15 to 18 November 2026 (held for a spot check; its Booking.com URL now redirects to srisawara-casa-krabi.html). HOP INN is around ฿707 and The Brown Hotel around ฿2,136, both for 15 to 18 November 2026 (there was no price for 12 to 15 January 2027).

It is also the best place in Krabi to work from. Our Krabi Town picks have the highest average wifi scores of the five areas, and Srisawara Casa holds the only perfect 10 for wifi we list in Krabi. Four of the six score 9.4 or better.

The trade is facilities: averaged, the weakest of the five areas, with nothing here topping 9.1. There is no pool at any of our six.

Where you stay in town matters more than it used to. Location scores now run from 9.6 at Hello House down to 8.2 at Sita Krabi, the widest range of any Krabi area. Hello House, on Maharaj Soi 4 about 109 metres from Krabi Walking Street, is both the best placed and the highest-scoring thing we list in the town.
