Kamala is the next bay north of Patong on Phuket’s west coast.

The most useful fact about our six hotels here is how little the price predicts the score. Naka Resort, an official two-star at around ฿4,500 a night on the January dates, rates higher than either of our five-stars. PR Room for Rent, around ฿3,500, sits at 9.3 or better on both platforms. CYAN Resort Kamala Beach, around ฿3,503 for 15 to 18 November 2026 (there was no price for 12 to 15 January 2027) and listed as beachfront, also sits at 9.3 or better.

Kamala Beach Estate Resort, around ฿5,837 for 15 to 18 November 2026 (left out of the January refresh: only two-bedroom suites), has a private beach area at the south end of the bay, Ayara Kamala is around ฿13,946, and Keemala, in the hills behind the village, around ฿32,972.

This is the Phuket area where guests rate value for money lowest on average. The other thing to know is wifi: CYAN scores 7.5 for it, the lowest of our Phuket hotels, against a staff score of 9.7.
