Patong

Patong is the beach town at the centre of Phuket’s west coast, with Bangla Road, its nightlife street, running inland from the beach.

We list six hotels here, all Researched Picks. On average they have the best location scores of any Phuket area we cover, and the softest of the six is 8.9.

Price tells you very little. Of those with a January price, Fong Kaew and Baan Nang Fa Guesthouse is around ฿2,400 a night, Riviera Patong around ฿2,739, and Dinso Resort & Villas, a branded five-star on Nanai Road, around ฿14,633. Phusita Hotel is around ฿2,000 for 15 to 18 November 2026 (there was no price for 12 to 15 January 2027). Hotel Clover Patong, around ฿4,759 for 15 to 18 November 2026, is held for a spot check and has two pools and 16,515 reviews between the two platforms, the deepest sample of any hotel we list in Phuket. Eden Resort & Villas at the northern end, around ฿9,583 for 15 to 18 November 2026, is also held and has the highest average score of the six.

No smoking on the beach. The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources lists Patong among 24 beaches where smoking is banned, and says it provides designated smoking areas on them.
