Hua Hin Town

Hua Hin Town runs from Klai Kangwon Palace in the north, through the old centre around the railway station, the night market and Naresdamri Road, to the point beside Chiva-Som where OpenStreetMap’s Hua Hin Beach becomes Khao Takiab Beach.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand describes Hua Hin as a quiet fishing village that became a royal holiday destination in the 1920s, and says the town’s 1922 Railway Hotel survives as the Centara Grand Beach Resort. The municipality lists the railway station, the beach and the night market among the town’s main attractions.

We list four places here, and they have the highest average location scores of any area. Captain Joe Cafe & Hostel has the highest average score of anything we list around Hua Hin, at around ฿650 a night with a shared bathroom. Maleesa Place has studios with a pool at around ฿1,635. Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa and Cape Nidhra Hotel are the beachfront five-stars, at around ฿6,501 and ฿12,853.

No smoking on the beach. The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources lists Hua Hin among 24 beaches where smoking is banned, and says it provides designated smoking areas on them.
