Khao Daeng viewpoint
A short, steep climb in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park to what the Tourism Authority calls the park's best panorama.

Checked on 19 September 2026. The fee is the park's, from the department's own table, which does not say where in the park it is collected. Hours are only reported, so they are not published as confirmed. The June 2026 closure comes from the department's closure announcement of 18 December 2025, as republished by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. We have not been.
Verified via. The Department of National Parks' open-data fee table gives Khao Sam Roi Yot's foreign adult rate as 200 baht. The Tourism Authority of Thailand describes the viewpoint. The position is from OpenStreetMap.
Admission
From ฿200. Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park's foreign adult rate in the Department of National Parks' published fee table: 200 baht, children 100. Thai adults pay 40. We found no separate charge for the viewpoint.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand names Khao Daeng viewpoint as one of the three top places to visit in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, alongside Phraya Nakhon Cave and an early boat trip through the marshes.
It says the climb is a little hard but gives the park’s best 360-degree panorama, and that you may see langurs on the way up.
What it costs. The park fee, 200 baht for a foreign adult by the Department of National Parks’ published table. Like Phraya Nakhon Cave, it is well south of our Pranburi picks.
It closes for part of the rains. The Department of National Parks’ 2026 closure announcement shut the viewpoint, with the park’s Tham Sai and Tham Kaeo caves, from 1 to 30 June 2026. The announcement lists no other closure for it in 2026.
