Checked on 21 September 2026. The product page's own rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 240 reviews, and the page also says it is recommended by 99 per cent of travellers. Viator's search listing showed 4.9 for the same product on the same day; where the two disagree we take the figure on the product page itself, and say so here. Nothing on Klook came close: its Lanta listings top out at 17 reviews. No price is published because Viator quotes in the currency of wherever you are sitting. We have not done this trip.
Verified via. The operator and its figures were read on its own Viator product page on 21 September 2026, where Viator names the supplier as Phoenix Divers Koh Lanta. The closure dates for Koh Haa, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang come from the Department of National Parks' 2026 closure announcement of 18 December 2025.

Lanta’s advantage over Phuket is distance. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, two pinnacles in open water that are the best-known dives in the Andaman, are a run south from Lanta rather than a long crossing, and Koh Haa’s caverns are closer still.
Two of the three are shut right now. The Department of National Parks closes Ko Ha, Hin Muang and Hin Daeng from 1 August to 30 September 2026. Until October, a Lanta dive day means the closer sites, and any operator promising Hin Daeng this month is not going there.
The numbers here are unusual. 240 reviews at 5.0 out of 5 on the operator’s own product page is the strongest evidence behind any tour on this site. Viator’s search page showed 4.9 for the same trip on the same day, so treat it as somewhere between the two, and treat the sample as the real point: 240 people is a lot for an island this size.
