Mu Ko Lanta National Park

Checked on 18 September 2026. The fee comes from the department's own published table. The department's page for the park returned errors every time, so opening hours and the length of the nature trail are not confirmed from a primary source. The 2026 island closures come from the department's closure announcement of 18 December 2025, as republished by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and apply to the islands, not to the headquarters on Lanta Yai. We have not been.
Verified via. The Department of National Parks' open-data fee table gives the foreign adult rate for Mu Ko Lanta as 200 baht, and 400 baht for the zone covering Ko Rok, Ko Ngai, Ko Ha, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. OpenStreetMap maps the lighthouse on the cape at Laem Tanod and a marked nature trail in the park. The Tourism Authority of Thailand says the department closes several Andaman park islands from May to October, Mu Ko Lanta among them.

From ฿200. Foreign adult rate from the Department of National Parks' published fee table: 200 baht, children 100. Thai adults pay 40. The offshore zone of Ko Rok, Ko Ngai, Ko Ha, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang is charged separately at 400 baht for a foreign adult.
The national park headquarters is at Laem Tanod, the cape at the southern tip of Ko Lanta Yai. There is a small beach, a lighthouse on the rocks at the point, and a marked nature trail into the forest behind, which OpenStreetMap maps as a loop.
What it costs. The Department of National Parks publishes the rate itself: 200 baht for a foreign adult, 100 for a child, 40 for a Thai adult. That is the rate for Lanta Yai and the main park.
The islands cost more, and close in the monsoon. The same fee table puts Ko Rok, Ko Ngai, Ko Ha and the dive sites at Hin Daeng and Hin Muang in a separate zone at 400 baht. Those are reached by boat, usually on a day trip, and the department’s 2026 closure announcement closes Ko Rok, with its bungalows and campsite, from 1 June to 30 September, and Ko Ha, Hin Muang and Hin Daeng from 1 August to 30 September. The headquarters on the main island is a different matter.
Hours. We could not confirm them. The department’s page for the park would not load, and the figure in circulation, 08:30 to 16:30, comes from a private guide site. Go in the morning and you will not be caught out.
