That location score of 8.4 is the trade, and it is a real one. Jade sits inland off Bophut Soi 1 rather than on the beach, so Fisherman’s Village and the sand are a short trip rather than a step outside. Compare it with Riviera Beach Hotel, a few minutes away and on the beach, which scores 9.7 on location and costs about ฿1,400 more a night. That is the price of the beach, laid out plainly.
