Averaged, that is the highest score of anything we list on Koh Samui, and the board behind it is remarkable: cleanliness 9.9, the best we list anywhere on the island, wifi a perfect 10, comfort and staff both 9.8, facilities and value for money both 9.7.
Read the second platform before you read the score. Six Agoda reviews is not a sample, it is a handful. The 223 on Booking.com are a real signal and the reason this is a Researched Pick at all; the Agoda figure agrees with them, which is reassuring, but it is agreement from almost no one. Treat this as the most promising thing on the island rather than the proven best.
It is a set of teak bungalows in a garden, with a pool, about a kilometre inland from the Mae Nam shore. Location scores 9.0.
Booking.com lists a pool, an airport shuttle, free parking and family rooms, and shows no official star rating, giving it a 4 out of 5 quality rating instead, which is Booking’s own assessment. The cheapest room for two on our dates was a deluxe bungalow at around ฿4,275 a night.
