Most snorkelling days out of Koh Tao are speedboats that hit four stops and come back. This is the other kind: an old wooden boat with a sun deck, a smaller group, and food on board, going around the same island more slowly.
Slow is the point. Fewer stops, longer at each, and a deck to sit on between them. If your measure of a good day is sites covered, take the speedboat instead.
Meals included. The operator’s own description has meals on the boat, which is not standard on the cheaper trips, where lunch is a stop on shore.
