Three of the sub-scores lead our Chiang Mai set outright. Staff score a perfect 10, which only one other property on the whole site matches, Phannarai House on Koh Samui. Location scores 9.9 and facilities 9.8, both the best we have recorded in the city. Cleanliness and comfort also score 9.8.
The weak number is wifi at 9.3, the only score on the board below 9.5. For most trips that will not matter. If you are working from the room, it is worth knowing.
Two things to weigh. First, this has the smallest review sample of our Chiang Mai picks, 1,196 combined, so the scores are strong but less settled than those on properties with several thousand reviews. Second, at around ฿10,319 a night it costs about half what The Inside House does, while matching it on Booking.com and beating it on Agoda.
