Confirmed on Booking.com (9.7 from 548 reviews) and Agoda (9.4 from 3,440 reviews), checked 17 September 2026. Booking.com shows an official five-star rating. Booking places it in Phra Sing, and its coordinates sit inside the moat. Sub-scores and facilities read from the Booking.com property page. We have not stayed here.
The two platforms disagree a little here: 9.7 from 548 reviews on Booking.com, 9.4 from 3,440 on Agoda. Agoda’s sample is more than six times larger, so if you want one number to trust, it is the lower one. Both are well clear of our 8.5 bar.
The scorecard has no soft spot. Staff 9.9, wifi 9.9, cleanliness and comfort 9.8, facilities 9.6. Location scores 9.8, second in our Chiang Mai set only to BaanBooLoo Village, which sits under 700 metres north inside the same moat.
The one number that stands out is value for money at 9.4, the lowest of our Old City picks. At around ฿20,500 a night for the dates we checked, this is the most expensive property we list in Chiang Mai and almost exactly twice BaanBooLoo’s rate. Guests clearly rate the stay. They are slightly less certain about the bill.
The honest read: if you want to be inside the Old City with nothing on the scorecard to worry about, this is a very safe pick. If the budget matters, BaanBooLoo matches it on Booking.com and beats it on Agoda for half the price.
