The scorecard is exceptional. Staff, cleanliness, comfort and wifi all score 9.9. That comfort score is the best of anything we list in Chiang Mai, and the cleanliness score is level with Hotel Sensai for the best. Facilities 9.7, value 9.5. The lowest number on the board is location, at 9.4, which is still the best location score among our Riverside picks.
It sits on Charoen Prathet Road on the west bank of the Ping, about 670 metres south of the Night Bazaar and roughly 1.5km from Tha Phae Gate, both measured in a straight line. So it is the river end of town rather than the temple end.
At around ฿9,963 a night it is the most expensive of our Riverside picks, and a little under BaanBooLoo Village’s rate inside the Old City. If you would rather be near the Night Bazaar than the temples, this is the one to look at first.
