Code Samui sits on the Bang Por stretch of Mae Nam, on the north-west coast, which is the same quiet side of the island as Panorama. The pattern is similar: you trade proximity to the action for calm, and the property compensates with a free shuttle service.
Staff at 9.4 and a facilities list with a spa, sauna and gym are the strong points. Location at 8.0 is the honest reflection of where it is, which is not near anything you would walk to.
The one number to weigh carefully is wifi at 7.5, its weakest figure by some distance and low for a four-star property. If you are working from the room, that matters more than the sauna does.
Booking.com has fewer reviews here (194) than Agoda (1,115), so the Agoda score carries more weight. Both land within a tenth of each other, which is the agreement we look for.
