Samui Paradise is a four-star property towards the south of Chaweng Beach, and it scores well everywhere except wifi. Staff 9.5, comfort 9.3, location 9.2, cleanliness 9.2.
Wifi at 8.1 is its one figure under 8.5, and it is the same story as several other Chaweng properties. Adequate for a holiday, not something to rely on for work.
At around ฿5,100 a night it is one of the more expensive options on the Chaweng strip, and value for money at 8.8 reflects that honestly. You are paying for the star rating and the position.
The facilities list includes bicycle hire, which is a genuinely useful thing on a beach road where the alternative is a scooter.
