Confirmed on Booking.com (9.3 from 364 reviews) and Agoda (9.1 from 519 reviews), checked 16-17 September 2026. The address names no area, so it was assigned from coordinates: 0.44km from the Sairee village centre against 1.69km to the next nearest. Sub-scores and facilities read from the Booking.com property page. We have not stayed here.
Staff 9.8, comfort 9.8, cleanliness 9.7, facilities 9.5. On almost every measure guests rate this as one of the best-run places we list on the island.
Then there is wifi, at 7.5. That is the lowest wifi score we have recorded on Koh Tao, and it is not close. On a holiday that barely matters. For anyone planning to work from the room between dives, it is the single number to take seriously before booking.
It sits a short way back from Sairee, a little under half a kilometre from the village centre by its coordinates, and location scores 9.0. You can walk to the beach and the dive shops, just not fall out of bed onto them.
At around ฿3,330 a night it is worth comparing with The AVA Resort, also on Sairee with a pool, at about ฿5,236. Sunny Side scores higher on comfort, cleanliness and value for noticeably less money. The AVA scores 9.5 for wifi. Which of those matters depends entirely on whether you brought a laptop.
