Chaloklum

Chaloklum is the wide bay on the north coast of Koh Phangan, about 9km from the Thong Sala pier in a straight line.

We list six properties here, four Researched Picks and two Also Listed. The picks rent houses and apartments: Baan Bhuwann, the highest-rated of them at 9.4 on both platforms, Baan Moonchan House, a timber house with its own kitchen and verandah at around ฿1,800 a night for 15 to 18 November 2026, Silan Residence and Boonya Swiss Home. Red Pearl is a budget hotel with a pool, at around ฿3,200 a night on the January dates. Mandalai had no January price (its November figure was around ฿1,270). Boonya Swiss Home is around ฿4,500 and Silan Residence around ฿7,410.

On average this is the second lowest-rated Phangan area, with the smallest review samples on the island, and the scores vary widely. Wifi runs from a perfect 10 at Boonya Swiss Home to 5.8 at Mandalai, the widest range of any area we cover, and location from 9.5 at Baan Moonchan House, level for the best on the island, down to 7.4 at Red Pearl, the lowest we list anywhere on Phangan.
