Location scores 9.5, the best of our Chaloklum picks and the joint best we list anywhere on Koh Phangan. Staff score 9.7, the joint best on this bay, and cleanliness is 9.5.
It is a timber house rather than a hotel room: white boards and dark wood, a bedroom with prints of fighting fish over the bed, a sitting room with a bright patterned daybed, a small kitchen with a hob and a kettle, and a covered verandah with a hammock and a table under the trees. Booking.com lists a garden, a terrace, bicycle and car rental, a shuttle service and private check-in, with an official two-star rating.
The one caveat is depth rather than quality. Its 434 reviews are the smallest sample of our six Chaloklum listings, where the others reach past 1,800. The cheapest booking for two on our dates was the one-bedroom house at around ฿1,800 a night for 15 to 18 November 2026 (there was no price for 12 to 15 January 2027).
