The villas are white and simple, with red-framed windows and doors, a sitting room with a sofa, a wooden dining table, a proper kitchen with a hob and a fridge, and a verandah looking out over a lawn to the palms. Booking.com lists a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar, room service and free parking, and shows no official star rating.
Two caveats. Wifi scores 7.5, the lowest of our Thong Sala picks, and its 308 reviews are the smallest sample here, in an area where two properties carry more than nine hundred. The cheapest booking for two on our dates was a standard villa at around ฿4,872 a night.
