Na Muang Waterfall

Na Muang is two separate falls in Samui’s mountainous middle, and OpenStreetMap records them as distinct places about 800 metres apart.

Level 1 sits at 9.4666, 99.9841, a short and level walk from the car park. Level 2 sits at 9.4721, 99.9900 and is the taller of the two, reached by a steeper climb that people in flip-flops regularly regret.

On cost, we are not going to guess. OpenStreetMap has no fee tag for either. What is worth knowing is structural rather than numerical: the falls sit beside Na Muang Safari Park, a separate commercial operation running elephant and 4x4 trips, and the approach is arranged such that visitors are quite easily funnelled into buying something on the way to what they came for. Know which one you are walking into.

Timing matters more here than at most Samui attractions. These are rain-fed. Late in the dry season they can reduce to very little, and the photographs that persuaded you to come were almost certainly taken in the wet. If a waterfall is the main event of your day, ask at your hotel what it is currently doing before driving inland.
