Samui’s landmarks are spread around a ring road, and this is the half day that joins them up: the Big Buddha, the grandfather and grandmother rocks, a waterfall, a viewpoint and a stop or two that depend on the day.
It is the orientation trip, not the highlight of your week. What it is good for is working out where things are on day one, before you decide what to go back to slowly.
