Phangan had no tour listed on this site until now because Klook, which we had checked, carries nothing here with enough reviews behind it. Park entrance fees are charged separately by the department and are not included in what the operator quotes; we have not verified what this operator charges. No price is published because Viator quotes in the currency of wherever you are sitting. We have not done this trip.
Verified via. Ang Thong is a gazetted Thai national marine park. Its 2026 closure, 1 November to 15 December, comes from the Department of National Parks' closure announcement of 18 December 2025, as republished by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The operator below was read on its own Viator product page on 21 September 2026, where Viator names the supplier as Click2GoThailand.com.

Ang Thong is the archipelago most people associate with Samui, and Phangan is no further from it. The day is the same one: the emerald lagoon on Ko Mae Ko, a viewpoint climb, snorkelling, and kayaks in the afternoon if the sea allows.
It closes for six weeks. The Department of National Parks shuts the whole park from 1 November to 15 December 2026. Our Ang Thong listing on the Samui side has the park’s own entrance fees, which are charged on arrival and are separate from what any operator quotes.
The sea decides the kayaking. This is the Gulf, and from October the swell builds: our guide to when to go has the rainfall figures month by month. Operators cancel rather than run a bad day, which is the right call and worth building a spare day around.
Why this one. 136 reviews at 4.5 out of 5, which is the only Phangan boat trip we found that clears our bar with a real sample behind it. The ones we rejected are not hidden: a Koh Tao snorkelling run from Phangan scores 3.8, and a second Ang Thong trip has too few reviews to judge.
