No photograph of Koh Madsum could be found under a licence we can use, so this listing carries none and the site shows a labelled stand-in.

Koh Madsum is twenty minutes off Samui’s southern shore and is known for the pigs that live on its beach. Koh Tan, next to it, has the better snorkelling of the two. Most boats do both in a half day.
Be clear about the pigs. They live on a beach because visitors come to photograph them. We have seen nothing credible on how they are kept, so we make no claim either way, and if that arrangement bothers you the snorkelling at Koh Tan is the part worth going for.
It is the cheap alternative to Ang Thong. Half a day rather than a full one, twenty minutes of crossing rather than an hour and a half, and no national park fee. Ang Thong is still the better trip if you have the day and the sea is calm.
